Anton is inspired by true events.
After years at sea, Anton returns home to County Cavan and finds an Ireland he barely recognizes. The North is burning, fear has crossed the border, and old loyalties have turned dangerous.
Pulled in by rage, guilt, and a twisted idea of patriotism, Anton is drawn into a hidden world of guns, betrayal, and men who speak of freedom while destroying everything around them. Soon he’s trapped between the family he loves, the country he thinks he owes, and the violent cause that won’t let him go.
When the law closes in and his former accomplices turn against him, Anton becomes a hunted man. His only chance of redemption lies in protecting the woman he loves, even if it means facing the men he once called brothers in a final, explosive reckoning.
