GERARD
McSORLEY (Lynch)
County Tyrone born Gerard McSorley, is one of Ireland’s
finest actors and has starred in every major Irish film of the last
eighteen years, Michael Collins, In The Name of the Father, The Boxer,
Veronica Guerin, Bloody Sunday and Omagh to name but a few. Gerard took
Best Actor honours at the 2004 Irish Film and Television Awards and the
Royal Television Society Best Actor award for his role in Omagh, the
powerful story of the 1998 Omagh Bombing. Gerard can be seen in his
most recent work, The Constant Gardener and the recently released
Middletown.

ANTHONY
FOX (Anton)
Originally from Quilca, Co. Cavan, Anthony left Ireland in 1992 and
went to London where he studied at the Lee Strasberg Studio. From there
he went on to New York where he worked with The Irish Repertory
Theatre, most notably as The Young Oscar Wilde alongside Christopher
Reeve in ‘A Wilde Night on Broadway’ and in Juno
and the Paycock alongside the great Irish actress Pauline Flanagan. His
film and TV credits include The General (John Boorman) and The Bill
(ITV). |

LAURA
WAY (Maria)
Laura was born in London but returned to Ireland with parents Irene
Wright and director Michael Way a year later. Recent film and TV roles
include the H.B.O. series "The Tudors" with director Ryan Kirk,
performing opposite Sam Neill, "Speed Dating" directed by Tony Herbert,
"Deified" directed by award-winning Viko Nikci and the comedy pilot
"Cinephilia" written and directed by George Kane. She is currently
playing lead female opposite Patrick Bergin in "One Step Back", a
comedy also featuring Brendan O'Carroll, Frank Carson, June Rogers and
Joe Rooney.

ANDY
SMITH (Brendan)
Andy was born in Cavan and travelled abroad in his younger years. In
1999 he moved to Dublin and enrolled in the Abbey School of Music and
Drama followed by the Theatre Studies in Colaiste Dhulaigh. Since then,
he has worked extensively in film, including Graham Cantwell's award
winning short "A Dublin Story". |

CILLIAN
ROCHE (Edward)
Cillian trained with Tim McDonnell in the Stanislavski Studio Dublin.
Cillian has appeared in many short films most notably "Box Three Spool
Five" with writer/director Stephen O'Sullivan, "Still Life" a
conceptual short Film devised with Graham Cantwell, and most recently
"Removal" by Donal Forman. A participant in this years moonstone
filmmakers lab with writer/director Terry McMahon, Cillian played the
lead role of Isaac in "The Dancehall Bitch". |

GRIET
VAN DAMME (Sophie)
Born in Ghent, Belgium in 1980, Griet travelled around a lot until she
settled in Rome, where she was noticed by a casting director and
appeared in Paul Schrader's "Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist". She
has alsofeatured in "Silence Becomes You", "Three Crosses", "Uri's
Haunted Cities" and ManZoekt Vrouw". |

RONAN
WILMOT (Johnny)
Ronan joined The Royal Shakespeare Company in 1980 where he stayed for
two and a half years and appeared in seven productions including Trevor
Nunn's Award winning production of Juno and The Paycock. Ronan has
worked frequently in film and television since 1985 in movies such as
In the Name of the Father, The Butcher Boy, Sweeney Todd, The General
and Country to name a few. His role as Willie Sexton in RTE's On Home
Ground received wide acclaim. Ronan is currently playing the Tailor in
The Tailor and Ansty. |
